I have been eating at Ginza ( on Village Blvd in West Palm Beach) since it opened. My daughter and I are particular about our sushi and I am what most would consider a " difficult" customer. I/We have always been satisfied. The servers are attentive. Love the warm hand towels and bean sprout appetizers when I first sit down. Its a welcoming and charming touch. The owners are so friendly and take pride in the quality of fish and presentation---fresh and delicious--art on a plate. Love the crunchy tuna roll, spicy calamari roll, spider roll and spicy tuna salad.... The hibatchi is family fun and filling and the miso soup---yummy!!! If you like/eat sweetbreads---the chicken livers are delish! Great lunch menu and fantastic happy hour ( wines, beer and sake 2-4-1) and reasonably priced menu. My favorite sushi place. Tip: If you aren't into sauces or familiar with the flavor profile of the sauces...ask for it on the side.

Sushi bar is not the best - below average quality of the sushi and rolls. Sashimi is served in half bite sized pieces, I have to take a pic to show how itty bitty it is. Hibachi side was way better. Its a fun show and tasty food - aside from the chicken. The chicken was poor (old) quality but the filet and shrimp was great. If you are alone than just sit at the sushi bar and eat salmon, edamame and drink - that was good.

This is absolutely some of the worst sushi I have ever had. The eel was so slimy I took it off of my roll and didn't eat it. I eat sushi several times a week and would never go back go Ginzal believe it or not, this place was recommended to me by a friend. Not sure what they thought was good about it....I will never eat there again.

I like many kinds of Asian food, but when I want something really good, I always end up ordering from Ginza. I've had many of their dishes and I can say I genuinely haven't disliked any of them! Their sushi is fantastic, their fried rice is amazing as well. Their salmon is to die for!

Enjoyed a great sushi meal giving the chef very basic guidelines of how much of what kind of sushi I wanted and let him do the rest. I was very pleased with all his selections from the variety of fresh sashimi, and nigiri consisting of tuna, salmon, white tuna & snapper. The roll was a combination of spicy tuna, asparagus, dikon & avocado. To end the meal he made a delicious spicy hamachi hand roll.

I just got carry out so I can't judge the staff except that they were very friendly in taking the order. As far as the food: I had the tuna tetaki (good, but hard to screw up raw tuna...) I also ordered the Ginza roll.....big mistake. Now, this might just be my taste, but I prefer less "rich" tasting rolls. It had cream cheese, and a garlic butter over it. I don't know what I was thinking. I tend to judge a sushi restaurant on how good their spicy tuna is....if the spicy "pink" sauce used on the Ginza roll was the same they would use on the spicy tuna, well, it left a lot to be desired. It was sour tasting and not AT ALL spicy. It was more like room temperature mayo; in a word: gross

Excellent service. Our waiter didn't hesitate once despite all of our questions. The food was great, and the prices were decent. Some of the sushi was same day fresh. The habachi was delicious. Definetely will be back for more of this quaint authentic Japanese restaurant.

The interior reminded me of a japanese nightclub full of japanese decoration. The other side of the restaurant serves habachi dishes. I ordered Chirashi from the sushi bar. The fish was very fresh and service was great!

When I'm craving Japanese food, I always go to Ginza. Everything on the sushi menu is fantastic. Also, the prices are much more reasonable than other sushi places in town and the food is of a much higher quality.

Pretty good. Most habachi restaurants are pretty much the same. My one complaint is that we ate on a saturday night with friends and the service was a bit to fast. Very unusual for Habachi which usually pretty slow.

quite possibly the worst japanese buffet i've ever been to. Maybe it was a bad night to go, but the selection if everything was to be honest terrible. I don't know if the deep fried bagel sushi roll sealed the deal for me, but i was very turned off by the entire sushi situation. The hibachi portions were reminiscent of samples given at costco, and the person grilling it was wearing a backwards fitted cap and barely spoke english. Decided i would never return

I have been going to Ginza for years and it is excellent. Without a doubt, they have the best roll in all of South Florida. When you go there, order the sashimi roll. There is no rice, but the combination of tuna, salmon and yellowtail along with tobiko and ponzu make this roll fantastic. Do not listen to Derek as he has this restaurant confused with another...there is no sushi buffet.

Ginza is the perfect little japanese spot. Its pretty large, has a sushi bar, traditional booth seating, tables, the little mats, and habatchi. The sushi is to die for. The service is wonderful, the habatchi is great. Honestly.... Ginza is perfect. I cant get enough of it.

I'm so sad that this restaurant has CLOSED permanently after so many wonderful years. Lots of good memories!

When asked what the most popular rolls are, the waitress responded with the Ginza Roll, which features spicy tuna, cream cheese, tempura flakes -- and garlic butter sauce. Garlic butter sauce? In the nearly two dozen sushi joints I've tried in 10+ years of eating sushi, I have never encountered garlic butter sauce as a sushi roll ingredient. 'No garlic butter sauce, please,' I requested. 'And how about adding escolar to the roll, too? The escolar only cost another $1.50 -- not bad. I also asked for spicy ponzu and sriracha sauces on the side. The Ginza Roll was served rather quickly, but came out sloppy. The spicy tuna was warm and mushy. And the sriracha sauce was not spicy at all -- I suspect they cut it with ketchup. Still hungry, I decided to order from the sashimi menu. Upon the waitress's recommendation, I ordered the Sweet Shrimp -- which was tiny -- literally one bite (another reviewer on here noted the same experience). I'm sorry, but I can't confidently recommend Ginza.

Very delicious. Got two dynamite rolls. One would have been enough for two of us. Scallops were HUGE. Will def be going back.. This is my new sushi place!

Mediocre at best, never busy, dull atmosphere
